*KOMPA MAGAZINE: TRUE or FALSE...Because of all the radio stations in Haiti, it is EASIER for a band BASED IN HAITI to blow up than a band based in Miami or New York. TRUE OR FALSE...Elaborate on your answer.
BERTO: "I don't agree Pat. A band can come out of anywhere and blow up. It's all about the strategies you put in place for that to happen. But at the same time, I will agree that the Haiti market is the most important one. Once Haiti gives you the blessings, you are good to go.

Once your product is good and your marketing strategies are on point, you can be in Zimbabwe and blow up everywhere. It's all about strategies. HAITI se Kapital Konpa. Pa gen manti nan sa."

Haiti doesn't have to give you any blessings. Each market is independent. You may blow up in one and stay there like 5 etwal or blow up in all of them and flourish like the main ones out there...
