*KOMPA MAGAZINE: How important is it to have a great impact at the Haiti premiere? Can a bad or not impressive show hurt the band, or is that a myth?

ROODY DELPE: "It’s very important to have a great and successful grand premiere in Haiti just for the simple fact that with Haiti being the capital of kompa and the hype of the highs and lows of the band would only validate or secure our spot in the motherland to a certain extent. Now, a bad or an unattractive show can hurt the band in a sense where you lose some of the people that came out based on the curiosity factor; and some of the people that came out just for a good time, which now makes the work load even harder on us to make sure we re-strategize the whole game plan. But with everything being on point, it only gives you a greater chance of putting a validated stamp on the band and also leaves the fans/people with a positive impression of the band, which then now opens up more doors with promoters and other business personnels."
