June 1974 was not just the day that Skah-Shah was born. It was also the renaissance, the new sound, the new standard how Kompa Direk should be played and Skah-Shah is truly a contributor of that era to present.

So before you guys can actually retire and individually continue playing gigs, do this one last thing for the fans. Please, set aside your differences, your selfishness and come together as one Skah-Shah for the last time.

We the fans that have been supporting you through thick and thin for decades at least we deserve that closure. All we're asking you is a 30 to 90-day tour with all original members and non-original members of the group, thereafter, you may quietly do as you wish.

This may not be easy. However, this will show your dedication and perhaps erase some of the blemishes that stain your standing in our musical culture. In addition, Nemours Jean Baptiste will be forever grateful and at peace knowing that you extrapolate your tenure in the industry that he helped create.

Respectfully,
Skah-Shah forever fans.
