HAITI SUMMER TOURS are always looked at in the industry as some sort of turning point in the year in the HMI for many bands. It is usually after a Summer tour of Haiti, that many experts in the industry feel that CERTAIN CHANGES IN THE MARKET ARE MADE in terms of BAND POSITIONING if you want to call it that. Having said that, it was after a Haiti Summer tour that the guys from Klass have told me that their first studio CD..AS WELL AS THE BAND took off.....after they got the blessing from the motherland. Many bands do not hesitate to go down to the motherland around SUMMER because in the eyes of the public...SI OU PA HAITI EN TOURNEE POU ETE A...SE KOMSI JAZ OU PAP REGLE ANYIN SERIEUX. That is why it is usually a POWER MOVE of sorts when bands release their Summer schedules on the internet...if the calendar is FULL, it gets the fan base excited to the point that they can start flexing their muscles.

Of course there is also a DOWNSIDE to HAITI SUMMER TOURS because if a band goes down there and the word gets back that SE POU CHAISE AK TABLE OU TAL JWE, it can have a negative impact on the band back in the states...that can take months to repair. Having said that the bottom line is......KISA JAZ OU PRAL REGLE EN HAITI POU ETE A...
