*KOMPA MAGAZINE: In your opinion, is there a market in the world that you think the bands in the HMI "SHOULD" be taking advantage of in terms of pushing Compas...they they are "NOT" doing?

DOF CHANCY: "Quite a few...but I would say SOUTH AMERICA more. There is an entire market there ready to be explored, but we don't have someone there to push our music to the South Americans. When our bands go down to CHILE to play, they go play for a HAITIAN crowd...and NOT for a CHILEAN crowd. SÉ POU HAITIANS JAZ YO AL JWÉ LEU YO AL CHILI....SÉ PA POU ÉTRANGÉ. Until we are able to have someone down there who is willing to go in South America and spend a good 2/3 months there to make sure the work there is done in terms of promoting our music....we will NOT conquer that market. THEY are waiting to be served...but if we don't do it, other cultures will serve them with THEIR own music."
