JBEATZ gives us a FULL UPDATE on current HAITI tour!

We asked JBEATZ how his tour in Haiti was going. Check out what he told us today.



*KOMPA MAGAZINE: Give us an update on how the tour is going. How many dates have you played so far....how is it going?
JBEATZ: "Hey Pat, Tour is going great thank you for asking. We had 11 gigs. Our first gig was very interesting. We started on the 18th, played at College père BASILE Moreau in Carrefour for students. That event was supposed to end by 7 PM, unfortunately our flight was late. We didn't get there until 8pm and everyone waited for us. It was nice of the school to send a Police truck with light and Siren to escort us from the airport to the school to avoid any traffic delays.

Second gig was in Aucap on the 21st and we packed LAKAY RESTAURANT the capacity there is about 700. 3rd gig was in GONAIVES on the 23rd which is always my favorite place to perform paske Nou toujou fè at least 1000 Moun and we didn't do too well. I warned the promoter about just 2 weeks of promotions and he still wanted to do to do it. We did under 300. Our 4th gig was in Bois Verna on the 24th with TOXIC and it was packed. On the 25th was my traditional gig in my home town ARCAHAIE Soires Rouge et blanc was obviously a success. Moving to our 5th gig on the 28th with DAT7 in Tabarre and Nou te Byen pase. 6th gig was last night in MONTRUIS and it was my first time and we did about 900 and the promoter was very satisfied.

Tonight we're in ROUTE FRÈRE with TOXIC and WENDYY and the words on the streets. It is a sold out party. Demain soir 31st Nap HINCHE. To start the year map jwe with NULOOK in JACMEL on the 1st then make my way to L'ASILE on the January 2nd and that gig was supposed to be with ZENGLEN. Our HAITI tour ends after that. Overall, BÈL TOURNÉE so far. Stay tuned....."
