COMPASFEST SUNDAY: 4 CANDIDATES for "1" JOB!

In my opinion, there are 4 BANDS that have LEGITIMATE chances of closing the festival on SUNDAY. In my opinion they are
SWEET MICKY, KLASS, HARMONIK, KAI.

I will give you MY ANALYSIS on each one of these and from there...YOU MAKE YOUR OWN CONCLUSIONS.

*SWEET MICKY: The SAFEST CALL to close the festival to me would be the legendary SWEET MICKY. If anyone has a catalog of HITS to close the festival "EN GRANMOUN"....HE IS THE MOST QUALIFIED for the Sunday show. Having said that, will we get SWEET MICKY dropping his MEGA HITS and kanavals at the festival, or will we get the one trying to push his NEW SONGS "MOSTLY"? Also, can the Compas President turn back the clock and be the energizer bunny that he can be on that stage...or not? Only SWEET MICKY knows what he has in store for the fans at the festival.

*KLASS: Being that this group has been at the summit of the HMI for the last four years, normally it would be a no-brainer to have them close the festival...ONLY ISSUE is, they still have NOT erased that "PAKA KRAZE FESTIVAL" tag fully. ORLANDOFEST by all accounts, they represented well, but if you ask their critics, they will point at other shows to explain that the group might not be the best choice for festival closer. If Micky does not close, I believe that Klass will.

*HMK: If ever there was a time for HAMLER RODNEY NOEL to put on his "GNB" jacket, it would be HERE if he makes the call to have HARMONIK close the show. If he makes that call, many will think he is out of his mind, while others will say....IT IS THE RIGHT TIME. I am one of the people who actually thinks that HARMONIK HAS NEVER BEEN HOTTER ON THE MARKET THAN THEY ARE NOW...so IF ever that FESTIVAL CLOSER call needs to be made....IT WOULD BE NOW....but does HAMLER RODNEY NOEL have the GNB to make that call? While the group has a hot album, and songs like "Benyin" and "Incroyable" that are doing damage out there...like T-Vice maestro Reynaldo Martino told me last week..."FESTIVAL PA BAL". It would be a HUGE CALL by HAMLER Rodney Noel if he lets Harmonik close the festival....if they fail to impress, it could damage their festival CREDENTIALS a bit...and probably erase that "CLOSER" part for good...but IF THEY PUT ON A KICK ASS SHOW and SURPRISE THE CRITICS....IT WOULD TAKE THE BAND TO A WHOLE OTHER LEVEL. Are they ready to take that gamble? A Suivre

*KAÏ: Based on his "CARIMI CREDENTIALS" alone, the group HAS the goods to be considered; but I WOULD BE SHOCKED if FITO FARINEN and RICHARD CAVE accept that spot even if it was handed to them by Rodney and Jean Michel Cerenord. Also because their CD just came out, they don't really have the material yet to close the festival....UNLESS THEY START PULLING OUT THE CARIMI CATALOG OF HITS. I WILL SHOOT THIS ONE DOWN RIGHT HERE...RIGHT NOW.....maybe a couple of years down the line...they might be ready to embrace it....NOT YET.

*TONY MIX: He is NOT a band, but if COMPASFEST wants to be DIFFERENT, they just might let this popular DJ send the people home with his brand of CROWD CONTROL. RODNEY told me in his interview the other day that there are DJS that are qualified to do damage at a festival...and I am sure that he considers TONY MIX as one of those DJS.

ANMWEYYYYYYYY Kisa HAMLER ak JENEL, ak ALEXANDRE FKD pral fè pou DIMANCHE sa MON DIEU in terms of WHO closes the show? WHICH BAND will get the call?
A SUIVRE!

Ou pap dòmi pou veye Jazz sa. I must agree with you. Klass poko gen festival credential to close a show of this magnitude. I think they made a mistake on the line up. T-Vice ak Djakout pa dwe jwe nan men'm jou. Youn te ka close Sat et lòt la close Sunday.
PS:KAI pa nan bagay moun.

I would definitely make Harmonick close the show and if I may add a piece of entertaining visual, using a spray machine and having Mac D drenched when singing Benyen'm, would be quite the showstopper if you ask me ;) :D
