We asked CARLO VIEUX his take on the RICHARD CAVÉ/SHEDLY ABRAHAM "Kaï" issue. (READ BELOW)



*KOMPA MAGAZINE: Shedly leaving KAÏ.....to join Mickael's band... should that be considered as a TRAYISON move or a BUSINESS move.... considering how close he was to Richard?
CARLO VIEUX: "Everybody will do what's best for them at the end of the day. Mike broke up Carimi cause that was what was best for him. Rich did Kaï cause that is what's best for him. I decided to not be full time in this industry cause that's what's best for me. Shed is a Great musician, talented and one of our best drummers, he did a lot for us, picking up the pieces when our other talents left, I doubt he did it to mess up Kaï's flow. But hey, opinions are like Honda's, everybody has one lol, and they are entitled to them."

*KOMPA MAGAZINE: Did Richard make A mistake by not offering him an owner's share of the group which probably would've kept him?
CARLO VIEUX: "I don't think Rich made a mistake. He wanted to be the sole owner and he is entitled to that. Being an owner is not always rosy, but I can also understand why someone would want to be more than a gigger. I understand both Rich and Shedley. Rich has the right to be upset, but Shed has the right to do what he feels is best for him as well. In a chess game I call this a stalemate. If you play chess Patrick.. let's play sometimes."
