We spoke to JEAN MAX VALCOURT about the MICKAEL GUIRAND article that we dropped. This is what he told us.

JEAN MAX DOLA: "Pa guin plis ke sa non jiskaprezan. I'm only helping Mike with music production on his project, like he's working with a few other producers in the Industry... that's by far what we talked about."

*KOMPA MAGAZINE: Is there PRESSURE on you to deliver because RIGHT NOW, as far as everybody is concerned...only RICHARD CAVE and CARLO have the GUIRAND "formula" musically speaking.
JEAN MAX DOLA: "Like I've always said in the past a producer is not just the man working on technicalities of the music rather than being a visionary, with that said when working with a guy like Mickael who has been surrounded by such great minds like Richard Cave and Carlo Vieux, making hits after hits for over 15 years, the one thing you do is listen, pay attention, observe, study to better understand the approach, then you can start putting the hands-on which is what I did with working Mike... It's a challenge that I enjoy."

*KOMPA MAGAZINE: Can we expect a "GOL" from you and Mickael?
JEAN MAX DOLA: "Only the public, the fans can tell. But i'm doing the best I can, working with Mickael, to give them something worth the wait... I'm confident that something awesome is on the way.."

*KOMPA MAGAZINE: Any thoughts of a BAND with MICKAEL?
JEAN MAX DOLA: "I actually questioned him regarding whether or not he's putting a band together. He told me this is among the many options he's considering, but right now he wants to focus in the studio producing music so he can be ready whenever he decides which direction to take with his career."
